Log in to the main Imperial Dam website (just add wp-admin to the end of the address to get to the login screen). Now you’re on the Dashboard. Look for Calendar on the left black menu (toward the bottom). Click on “Calendar” to access the “Calendar Manager” page which lists available Calendars (we currently just have the one, Imperial Dam).

To add an event, from the Calendar Manager, click on the Imperial Dam Calendar. You’ll see a list of events. Click on the “Add an event” button to the right. It opens a page where you can add:
– A title to your event
– A category from the drop-down menu. If you need to add a category, choose “event category” under Calendar on the left black menu.
– A date: click on the three … to open up a “date picker” to easily choose the event date. You can also write in a date like, 12/16/2016
– The starting time followed by the ending time. Use the drop-down menu to choose AM or PM.
– A note section to add details to your event, like a potluck afterwards, etc.

To the right you can set the frequency of your event, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or Don’t Repeat.
Click the Save button to add the event to the Calendar.
